Fifteen Folklore Finds
Stories and reflections on the creative process | By Daniel Ingram-Brown | In development
After turning fifty, I set myself a challenge: to visit fifty places across Britain connected to folklore.
Not to retell their legends, but to walk through these places, sit with their stories and discover what they might unlock creatively.
In Fifteen Folklore Finds, I bring together fifteen stories inspired by these journeys, alongside reflections on imagination, storytelling and the creative process, drawing on insights from my PhD research.
An exploration of the places where folklore, landscape and imagination meet.

The Statue's Curse
A psychological ghost story for adults | 30 minutes | Available now
Two churchmen fight to erase the memory of a local prophetess, with devastating consequences.
This psychological ghost story draws on the legend of the famous English prophetess Mother Shipton and the Petrifying Well, beside which she is said to have been born. The well's mineral-rich waters calcify anything left in its flow, turning objects to stone.
Please note: This story is intended for adults, not children.
Available on Spotify, Google Play and other audiobook platforms.
